Phosphatidyl Serine Supplement 100 mg

Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid derived from soy lecithin and present in all cells, specifically as a membrane component, found in higher amounts in the brain. 

Phosphatidylserine has been associated with normal brain function because neuronal communication, particularly nerve impulses, depends on the integrity of neuron membranes, including the myelin sheath, and it is known that production of this phospholipid decreases with age. 

Additionally, this phospholipid mediates the release of neurotransmitters (as they are sent to the extracellular space by exocytosis), shapes synaptic receptors and proteins involved in various nervous responses.
