Orthodontic Wax

Orthodontic waxes are wax bars used to coat brackets and other parts of orthodontic appliances to protect the oral mucosa and gums from abrasion and minor injuries caused by them.

The wax is molded and placed over the structures of the orthodontic appliances, especially on the sharp parts.

Recommended Use

1. Heat a small amount of orthodontic wax between your fingers so that it can be applied to the appliance.
2. Dry the supports and the arch of the appliance.
3. Separate a piece of wax, mold it with your fingers, and place it on the parts of the appliance that cause injury or irritation.
