Description

RESOURCE Thickener Clear is a thickener specially designed to quickly and conveniently thicken liquids, semi-solid foods, and nutritional supplements for patients with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties. Once prepared, the liquid or food remains transparent, without lumps, flavor, or odor. It is a dietary food intended for specific medical purposes used for patients with dysphagia and should be used under medical supervision.

Indications
This product is especially indicated for the treatment of patients with swallowing difficulties:
- Prevention and treatment of dehydration in patients with dysphagia for liquids.
- Helps achieve appropriate textures in patients with dysphagia for solids.
Compatible with diets for patients with dysphagia and: Diabetes Mellitus, Overweight and obesity, Increased fiber needs, Low salt intake.

Recommended uses

For 100 ml of hot or cold water or beverage

1. Add 1 measuring spoon of thickener to an empty glass

2. Add the thickened liquid

3. Stir until a homogeneous mixture is achieved (10 seconds)

4. Wait
Specific indications:
The thickener should be added first.
Use an empty glass.
If the consistency is not correct, do not add an extra dose to the thickened liquid.

Ingredients List

Maltodextrin, xanthan gum, and potassium chloride. May contain milk. 

Suitable for children over 3 years of age.
Should be used under medical prescription.
Not recommended as the sole source of nutrition.
